The Reading Symphony Orchestra’s 2026–2027 season is a celebration of who we are, individually, collectively, and as a community.

From the sweeping romance of Rachmaninoff to the triumphant fire of Tchaikovsky, from Mahler’s luminous humanity to Beethoven’s defiant power, this is music that speaks directly to the heart.

Under the direction of Music Director Andrew Constantine, the Orchestra pairs beloved symphonic works with meaningful partnerships and artistic innovation.

The multimedia collaboration Berks in Focus shines a spotlight on local stories and creative voices. A breathtaking performance with the Joffrey Ballet brings movement and music together in unforgettable fashion. And a high-energy New Year’s Eve celebration featuring the music of Elton John and Billy Joel invites the entire community to sing, celebrate, and belong.

The season culminates in a powerful finale featuring a world premiere cello concerto alongside Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, reminding us that our story continues to unfold, shaped by both tradition and bold new expression.
