Junior Strings

The Reading Symphony Junior String Orchestra (RSJSO), formed in 1999, was founded with the purpose of providing a training group for the RSYO. It gives young talented string students of Berks County and surrounding areas an opportunity to perform music with other outstanding string players. The RSJSO has received ratings of “superior” for the past years for their performances at the Music in the Park Festivals, Dorney Park, Allentown, Pa. Currently there are 63 members in grades four through eight chosen by audition.
